Polar chillers are powerful units supplied with FCKW free cooling oil. They are supplied with a safety switch that stops the unit when it is overheating. This prevents the damage of the compressor. An integrated air filter, which can be changed from outside, extends the interval for maintenance.
The heat exchangers are absolutely corrosion proof and contamination free. The chillers can be used for freshwater and marine aquariums and with a broad number of chemicals. The aquarium water contacts only Titanium and plastic materials.
Features of the Polar Chiller:
- The set point can be adjusted from 3C to 32C in steps of 1C.
- Hysteresis is 1C.
- Switch on Protection: To prevent a frequent on and off switching of the chiller, it will start again only after a break of minimum 3 minutes.
- Automatic switch Off: The cooler is switched off automatically, when there are problems with the temperature sensor or if the motor is overheating
