The Newa PGR-2000 Power Gravel Cleaner is a vacuum cleaner designed to clean the bottom of the aquarium. It is simply attached to the aquarium or technical tank. Then, using the easily manoeuvrable suction hose, which reaches all parts of the aquarium, the water is sucked into the filter tank to be filtered and then immediately returned to the aquarium. It is equipped with a strainer that prevents stones and small fish from being sucked in.
The practical and efficient filter tank with its oblique superimposed levels on which the sediment settles, quickly removes all dirt particles that settle at the bottom of the aquarium. A cartridge equipped with a microporous fabric filter, capable of retaining even the smallest sediment particles, completes the filtration process.
A decrease in the flow rate at the water outlet indicates that the filter tank is full and the filter cartridge must be removed to clean and rinse the filter. The filter is also washable and reusable like all the components that make up the Power Gravel Cleaner.
No batteries are required, the suction is carried out by a powerful pump powered by household electricity. All electrical parts are perfectly insulated and submersible.
