Bio-Pure provides an ideal colonisation surface for bacteria and, as an organic carbon source, supports them in their growth and degradation of unwanted nutrients. Nitrate and phosphate are stored in a biomass, which can then be safely removed from the aquarium via a skimmer.
Bio-Pure consists of PHB with a bioavailability of approx. 98% and is biodegradable
Tips:
• For PO4 values below 0.1 mg, use max. 50 ml per 100 litres of water.
•For PO4 values above 0.1 mg, use max. 100 ml per 100 litres of water.
•Water the required amount of Bio-Pure for about 24h in osmosis water.
•Slight turbidity may occur in the first few days. This is normal and disappears after a few days on its own.
• Make sure that skimming is su cient in the immediate vicinity of the pelletfilter.
• For best results use our ARKA Core Bio-Pellet Reactor.
• Measurable results occur after about 1–2 weeks.
Dosage:
Add 20–50 ml per 100 litres of water to an appropriate bio-pellet reactor.
The dosage can be slowly increased to a maximum of 100 ml per 100 litres of water.
