The InSight Pro does not need to connect directly to your Apex or other aquarium equipment — instead it communicates with it over WiFi. It can be located near the aquarium, or even in another room like your office, bedroom, kitchen, or wherever else you want the convenience of knowing how your aquarium is doing with just a glance. You can connect multiple InSights to the same Apex.
Additionally, the InSight Pro is monitoring the health and operation of your unique aquarium, its AI will tailor the experience to your aquarium and its specific needs and history.
The InSight Pro model goes a step further than the basic InSight with sensors that monitor the air under and around your aquarium, or your room, for potential environmental concerns that can affect your aquarium such as: temperature, humidity, CO2, and even VOC (volatile organic compounds). This information, along with your aquarium data, creates a holistic understanding of your aquarium, its surrounding, and its life support challenges.
The InSight Pro uses a bright, 4” IPS LCD touchscreen display that is configured to your specific needs using the companion MyAquarium mobile app. It can sit on any flat surface, be panel mounted with the included mounting accessory, or attached easily to any AvidAqua ModMag.
